5K a year 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago The Recruiter will lead significant staffing initiatives, providing strategic recruitment, selection, placement support and direction to assigned hiring managers.
Consults with managers to develop recruiting plans and programs to achieve business goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Source candidates by using various methods including independent searches of passive candidates.
Conduct phone screens with potential candidates to assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
Set up phone/zoom and in person interviews with Hiring Manager(s) to determine suitability of candidates.
Work with Hiring Manager(s) to determine appropriate offer details to be presented to candidates.
Administer personality profile to qualified candidates.
Work through negotiation process, including explanation of benefits, bonus structure, time off, etc.
to ensure candidate has all questions answered.
Complete initial new hire documents for new employees and hand off to HR for processing.
Assist with onboarding new employees when necessary.
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
Assist with the employee referral program.
Assist manager with designing, advertising, organizing and conducting hiring events both locally as well as at other Powerhouse locations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and TRAINING:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college/university or 6-years specific recruiting experience or comparable combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Knowledge of Paylocity software a plus! Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills necessary WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as telephone.
The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds.
Ability to read and understand work instructions.
